“ kaali rooh tay sonay loug”, relates to the “two faced” or the “ two sides” of a human physically and spiritually. It instantly reminded the designer of the story he once read of the roman god Janus, who has two faces physically front and back. He symbolises the dualities such as life/death, war/ peace etc. So he decided to incorporate two different faces to represent two different sides and to further symbolise a contrast of emotions was shown between the two faces one being calm (sonay loug) and other hysterical (kaali rooh).
